What Do I Do When I'm Not A Lawyer?

Family:

I try to keep up with my triathlete wife Elizabeth and my three amazing kids, Duncan, Spencer and Megan.

Community:

I have been engaged a variety of non profit organizations and public boards, commission and projects in over 25 years as a resident of Holland, Michigan.

I have been a Step-On-Tour Guide for Holland, Michigan’s world famous Tulip Time Festival since 1994 and was a member of its Board of Directors from 2012 to 2017.

Was a Trustee for the Herrick District Library from 2005 to 2017.

I provided leadership training to West Coast Leadership, a program of the West Coast Chamber of Commerce for 17 years.

I also sit on the Board of Directors of the Jacob Michael Davis Foundation, a charity dedicated to providing financial assistance to families of sick children.

Education:

Years ago I graduated from Hope College and Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  I have been a proud resident of Holland for over 25 years.
